For my photography magazine I have decided to keep it simple as I believe that it gives it a more modern appealing look to the target audience as they are not looking for a leisurely magazine that would typically be cluttered with gossip, they are looking for a specific topic that could help them. As photography is a niche subject I want to make it seem professional and smart so instead of having a cluttered front page. I intend to keep it minimal and simple. I also believe that will help it stand out as it will be one of the few that are minimal, so as it has less imagery and graphics on the front it will stand out from the rest. As I am keeping my magazine minimal for the front page, I will have the main image across the whole page, with the masthead at the top. The barcode and price will fall just under the masthead on the left side of the page. I will then place 3 images at the bottom to give an idea what is included inside the magazine. Above I will have some text and a heading of what this issue of the magazine is about.
